Steffen Bornemann holds a Ph.D. in Polymer chemistry.

After studying chemistry at Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg he worked in different positions for a global producer of hygiene and technical nonwovens.

Since 2009, he is employed at Folienwerk Wolfen GmbH, a German company producing purpose-made films. Currently, he is responsible for research, development and quality assurance.

He is involved in several publications and patents in polymer science and applications.
