Novartis is a global healthcare company based in Switzerland that provides solutions to address the evolving needs of patients worldwide.

After an education in human factors engineering in France and a PhD in mechanical engineering in Germany, Muriel started her career in the aerospace field before discovering the medical device world.

Currently heading a large team of human factors engineers at Novartis/Sandoz she is responsible for developing user friendly combination products as well as medical devices and bio-similars.

Her active presence as a member of the international committee for the Human Factors standard (IEC 62366) and of the Combination Product Coalition provides her a deep understanding of the latest development in terms of regulations.
