Since 1981 in Italimpianti (Furnaces Department). Development of level 2 automation for the process control of reheating furnaces.

Responsible of the development of mathematical models for thermal design of furnaces since 1985.

Since 1996 in Techint (former Italimpianti) and now Tenova responsible of R&D group of the Furnaces Business Unit in Genova.

Author of more than 50 articles published on international magazines of the steel industry field and in the proceedings of international conferences.

Co-inventor of several patents relevant to the combustion control techniques and to the ultra-low NOx emission burners.
