Dr. Laszlo Balazs
Laszlo Balazs founded Research Link Consulting in 2017 to foster cooperation between academic institutions, industrial players and start-ups to offer solutions for emerging market needs.
Previously Laszlo worked for GE Lighting. Since 1995 he filled various R&D leadership positions including Global Lighting Innovation Manager between 2008-12. He managed complex technical programs and led R&D grant projects in cooperation with industrial and academic partners. As Six Sigma Master Black Belt Laszlo introduced the Technology Radar tool for tracking emerging technology trends, led technology scouting and coordinated knowledge transfer from research labs to product development.
Laszlo holds PhD in physical chemistry from Eötvös University, Budapest. Laszlo is an author of 48 research papers and 17 patents.
